Returns & Exchanges
Not in love? Returns are super easy. We’ll gladly accept merchandise purchased at thebasicconcept.com for return or exchange.
To be eligible for a return, items must be in their original state: unwashed, unworn, unaltered, and with all original tags attached. Returns that are damaged or soiled may not be accepted and will be returned to the customer.
Once returned items in their original state are received, refunds will be processed within 7-10 business days. Please note that your financial institution may require additional days to credit your account.
Please note that we currently do not offer pre-paid return shipping labels for your return or exchange request.

- Once the return request is approved, you have 7 days to ship back the returning item.

HOW TO MAIL BACK A RETURN
- Submit the return request form above.
- Once your return request has been approved, you will receive an email with the returning address.
- Return the item within 7 days of receiving the return approval email. Please reference the sender’s name (the name of the original buyer) outside the package. Failing to do so will result in refund processing delays.
- Once we receive your return package, we’ll process your refund within 7 to 10 business days.
- As soon as your return is complete, we'll e-mail you to let you know.
- We are not able to offer exchanges online. If you need a different size or color, please place a new order online and return the unwanted item for a full refund within 14 days of receiving your order.
- We do not offer pre-paid return shipping labels for your exchange request.
DAMAGED OR DEFECTIVE ITEM
Upon receiving your order, please inspect items thoroughly. Contact us immediately with your order # and a photo if the item is damaged or defective. Due to the nature of our products, we only accept refund requests for damaged/defective items if they are made within 48-hours of receipt of your order. We do not accept refund requests for damaged/defective items if they are made after 48-hours, following receipt of your order. This includes stains, discoloration, loose seams, dents and cracks.
WRONG ITEM OR MISSING ITEM
If you have received a wrong item or a missing item, please contact us immediately with your order # and a photo. We will verify the issue by checking our shipping label record, the weight of the package and inventory history scans.
Once we receive your return, we'll refund you to your original payment method. The returned package will be unpacked and inspected. All items must be in their original state: unwashed, unworn, unaltered, and with all original tags attached. Returns that are damaged or soiled may not be accepted and will be returned to the customer.
Depending on your bank’s processing times, it may take up to 5 business days for refunds to reflect on your account.
Gift cards may not be redeemed for cash or refunded unless required by law. All returned items purchased using a gift card will be refunded as merchandise credit back to gift card.
